TEANECK, NJ – OCTOBER 27, 2021: Infiniti Energy, a full-service solar power developer and independent power producer, has completed construction on 905 kW of new solar projects for the Teaneck New Jersey Board of Education. Infiniti Energy was hired by Concord Management Services LLC (CMS), the EPC Contractor for the project. The project was completed under a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) which enables the district to achieve the financial benefits of renewable energy immediately while eliminating up-front expenditures and outsourcing operation and maintenance costs over a specified period. Financing for these projects was provided by Empower Energies.
According to project officials, the design includes rooftop solar arrays at six (6) K-12 buildings. The environmental benefits which these arrays generate are equivalent to nearly 2,400 cars being taken off the road for a year. Locations and individual system sizes include*:
- Teaneck High School, a 237 kW DC array.
- Theodora Smiley Lacey School, a 36 kW DC array.
- Thomas Jefferson Middle School, a 267 kW DC array.
- Whittier Elementary School, a 134 kW DC array.
- New Administration Building, a 103 kW DC array.
- Lowell Elementary School, a 122 kW DC array.
